Ventura county is located along the Pacific coast north of Los Angeles
County and South of Santa Barabara County. The primary city in
Ventura County is Ventura. In Ventura you will find many museums,
inclduing the Ventura County Museum of History and Art located at 100
East Main Street in the City of Ventura. Another worthwhile place to
tour is the San Buenaventura Mission, founded in 1782 by Father
Junipero Serra as one of many missions that span the California
Coastal Communities.
