While visiting Riverside Country, if you choose not to "rough it" by
camping in Joshua Tree National Park, you might want to stay in Palm
Springs or its environment. Palm Springs is a desert resort / spa
community with plenty of upscale shops, and many spas and Golf
Courses. While visiting, you might consider walking tours (if it is
not too hot), or even driving around the community looking for the
homes of stars.
